Located only a few minutes outside of East Calgary's city limits in the charming lakeside community of Chestermere, we have the Spa retreat for you. On our website you will find a diverse selection of luxury spa services, like stone therapy, cupping therapy, spa facials, hand and foot treatments, along with clinical spa services like IPL hair removal, photo rejuvenation facials, henna brows, lash lifting and more in a boutique lakeshore cottage themed day spa. We believe in the value of good customer service and our goal is to provide a relaxing experience in a clean and sanitary space

Enjoy a selection of complimentary Teas or Gourmet Coffees and sweet salt water taffy pieces in our welcoming and stress melting atmosphere while we take care of you. Now you may choose from a selection or wine or prosecco with your service. Lakeshore also offers other esthetics services. The parking is also complimentary 


We have updated our guest procedures and sanitations and disinfection practices for COVID 19. Masks are currently mandatory and we ask that guests arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to their service. Please understand that screening practices are in place and you may be asked at the time of booking and upon arrival a few questions regarding your health. Our guest safety and our staff safety are of high priority and part of our new spa management

Came here for the first time today for a much needed massage. Very well planned covid precautionary check in/arrival! Felt comfortable . Great first impression loved the layout, look and all the products in the main lobby . I was promptly taken in and had my massage. Sunree was so sweet and kind. This was by far the BEST massage I have ever had. I fell into a deep sleep, which is hard for me to do! It was so relaxing and I feel refreshed and pain free today! Jody  - Owner/Esthetician/Laser Technician - Jody has been in the esthetics industry for close to 20 years and started her career running a mini spa from home. She is dedicated and truly loves this industry.

Manpreet - Esthetician  - With the most Esthetic experience. A master threader and fantastic Esthetician! You need to try her facial. She carries a passion for this rewarding industry.


Nina - Bubbly, smart and uber talented. We've discovered that she is a fantastic sugarer and nail artist. Nina is also the Spa Manager, helping Jody with tasks and making sure the spa runs smoothly. She wears many hats at the spa.

Rhiannon - A recent graduate of the intense CIDESCO program for Esthetics, her favourite service is a facial but is quickly becoming a fan of the Spa Pedicure.

Jenna - She's sweet and talented and we see a successful future in her spa career.

Jenn - This rockstar massage therapist has been in this industry for over 15 years and she does a fantastic deep tissue therapeutic massage.

Sasha - RMT - Specializing in Prenatal, Relaxation, Stone & Deep Tissue Therapy Massage, this lovely human does all the styles and does them well.

Sunaree - RMT  - All the way from Thailand, Sunaree amazes us with her therapeutic skills with Reflexology, Cupping, Thai Massage and many other styles. 


Whitney - RMT - New to the field but on her way to becoming a super star in this industry. She is in the process of adding dynamic cupping to her service menu.

Tanya - RMT - Bringing 20 years of experience to the table and I've heard her relaxation massage will put you to sleep. Anyone interested?

Kelsey - This lady runs a tight ship keeping us organized and focused, especially since our re-opening. Covid questions and hand sanitizer spritzes with all of the guests are keeping her busy.

Hannah - Hannah helps run the front desk at The Lakeshore and helps keep our endless piles of laundry under control. She is much appreciated.

Jeiya - This lovely Receptionist to joined our Team last year. You'll be greeted by her beautiful smile and gentle demeaner when you walk in the spa

Spa Policies

24 Hour/Late Cancel Cancellation/Confirmation Policy

Before you book, please read and understand our policy. You are about to reserve time especially for yourself in our calendar for some much needed wellness and we commit to providing you with exceptional service and services. Many times the staff is functioning in an "on call" status and can have travelled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. Failure to Give Notice and Late Cancellations affect our small business so we ask that you respect The Lakeshore's 24 hour cancellation/confirmation policy.


All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number, CVV # & expiry date. On-line bookings will recieve a phone call from our Staff for the Credit Card number.  Non-expired Gift Certificates may be used in leiu of credit cards, however it must be understood that a missed appointment will hereby render the Gift Certificate voided and forfeit.


Cancellations within 24 hours of the Spa Appointment will be charged 30% of the missed appointment and FAILURE TO GIVE NOTICE (No-shows) or last minute cancels will be charged 100% of the missed appointment.  Phone calls or emails received outside of business hours are considered to be received the next business day and are subject to the same fees. Text messages are not accepted as a method of appointment cancellations. Emergencies are considered for last minute cancellations only and illness cancellations within 3 hours of the appointment are subject to a 30% fee. 

We will give a confirmation call and/or a reminder email in advance of your reserved time and require an appointment confirmation prior to your arrival at the Spa. Those that do not provide an email or don't return our reminder messages will be soley responsible for remembering their reserved time


No-shows take away time in the schedule for other Spa-goers looking for an appointment. Please understand that when you cancel your appointment without giving notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. 

Our appointments are confirmed by phone call and/or email in advance by email because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply. You are also soley responsible for your on-line bookings and fees will apply for last minute changes to the schedule or cancelations outside of this policy. You will receive an itinerary email confirming what you've scheduled. 


If you decline giving us an email or do not respond to our requests for confirmation of appointment it becomes your responsibility to remember the date and time of your appointment.  


Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge of 30% of the appointment up to1 hours before the appointment, NO SHOWS will result in a charge of 100% of the reserved service amount. 


Important:  Although our automatic reservation system does send out reminder emails in advance of your appointment, email in general is not always reliable. Sometimes emails are late, go directly into your junk mail folder or don't show up at all. All these things are out of our control. We recommend that clients note the date/time of their services through other means because ultimately each person is responsible for keeping their appointment and cancelling within 24 hours if need be.    


Children in the Spa

Children over the age of 12 are permitted spa if booked for a service when having a service and must be accompanied by an parent. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service unless arranged in advance of your service. No children may be unattended in our waiting area and may need to be present in the room with you during your service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children, and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment and we will not compromise the relaxation of our other guests. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. This includes Children left unattended for tanning.


Tanning Clients

Under no circumstances can we watch or attend to children under the age of 12, toddlers or infants in carrier seats unless accompanied by a care giver. Our facility is not designed for this type of care. Tanning clients may be turned away from the use of the tanning facility.

Tanning Under the Age of 18

No person under the age of 18 is permitted to use the UV Tan bed.

Returns on Product

Retail products may be exchanged with an original receipt within 7 days. We do not offer refunds or apply credit toward services for returned merchandise.


Gift Cards/Certificates

  • All Gift Certificates are strictly non-refundable but for your convenience are fully transferable to another person (notified in writing)

  • All Spa Packages must be performed as listed and on the same day 

  • Packages cannot be split to accommodate two separate individuals 

  • Prices & treatment protocols are subject to change without notice

  • GC's do not includes all applicable taxes or gratuities.

  • Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • The value of a Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, altered or used without permission.

  • Gift Cards MUST be presented at time of redemption.

  • Gift Cards can be sold for a dollar value and not for a specific service.

  • A fee may be charged for a lost/replacement card.

  • Lakeshore is not responsible for lost/misplaced or stolen Gift Certificates and they may not be replaced.

  • Gift Certificates are for a dollar value, treatment or multiple treatments.

  • There is no cash value for a gift certificate.

  • It is for a service or dollar amount to be used at The Lakeshore Spa only.

  • Change is not given on a voucher.

  • The Gift Certificate EXPIRES SIX MONTHS AFTER ISSUE. The GC becomes a dollar value only, after 6 months.

  • A fee applies for lost/stolen certificates that need replacement.

  • Gift Certificates cannot be purchased for any spa promotions unless being used before the deal/promo expires.

  • Non-expired Gift Certificates may be used in leiu of credit cards to hold appointment times, however it must be understood that a missed appointment will hereby render the Gift Certificate voided and forfeit

  • Concerns or questions should be directed to Management.

  • Gift Certificates over 1 year old for a service are subject to any price increases and the recipient may be responsible to pay the difference, this includes spa promotions that have expired.

  • The value of the gift certificate will become null and voided if the guest fails to give proper notice of cancellation or no-shows an appointment.


Arrival Time at Spa

To ensure your appointment starts right at the scheduled time, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out any intake forms that are needed. Late starting appointments may result in a shortened appointment time or may require rescheduling. We typcially arrive before the opening time of 9am, however, time is needed for the wax to warm properly prior to a service.



Our Staff is committed to providing the best quality service that they can at The Lakeshore. Please remember that mistakes happen and we are human and if given the opportunity we will do our best to fix any mistakes or address any concerns.

Work Load

This position requires you to be a multi tasker. Most times we are run off our feet, we answer phones, greet clients, make cups of delicious tea, fold many, many white towels, and sterilize our tools. Some times we are quiet so we can make sure all rooms and stations are stocked, the corners are clean and the Spa is generally neat and tidy. You will get to use all of the skills you learned in Aesthetics School without having to supply your own tools or smock.



We are always in pursuit of learning and refreshing our skills to make sure we stay current with Spa trends and don't develop any bad habits. Educational training/workshops are held 2-3 times per year and all Estheticians are required to attend.


Team Work

This is an almost drama free space (well - we are women!) There is power in a cooperative group working together. Be prepared to work hard, be supportive and be supported.



Yes, you are expected to up sell your Spa services and recommend treatments based upon the clients needs. Recommendations of skin care, foot care and nail care products is also required. 

Customer Care

The customers are in our care so you must be responsive and honest. You will not perform a service outside the scope of your knowledge or make a diagnosis. Your job will be to ensure they have a great experience.
